There can be no doubt. The Republican Party is PRO WAR. They had the opportunity last night to cast a vote to help end the war.
It is clear that doing what is best for your party now supercedes what is best for America.
It's shameful that we have such a large number of the legislature who, still, remain loyal to a President whose main legacy will be being known as the worst President in modern American history. Why do these folks continue to hold on to a policy that is long past failed? Partisanship. Pure. Simple. No other explanation.
Throw them out. For every Congressional representative - every Senator. Throw them out. This is the time for each and everyone to re-energize democracy and remind these career politicians for whom they work.
I hope Americans wake up and remove from office each person who voted to continue this war.

It's A Matter of Formal Record

To me, it's a whole lot more than just the war.
It's everything.
I would LOVE to see every damned politician voted out of office at the same time (if that was possible). A fresh start. And a clear message.
I was hoping the so called
"wake up call" occurred when the Democrat's took the House and the Senate. Meanwhile here is a link to a soldier's experience of the war and he is still over there.
A Song Written in Iraq
This soldier video is new and different. It is moving and
heartwarming. Enjoy and pass it on! The singer needs a recording
contract when he comes home! American Idol should contact him and he
shouldn't have to wait in line.
